have just been advised that an Overseas Mortgage for
Turkey has been released TODAY.
Here
is a brief overview of the scheme available and we

BROAD
OVERVIEW OF THE DETAILS AS FOLLOWS:
Repayment
Mortgages Only.
Currently
only available on the Turkish Riviera and Istanbul,
including Bodrum, Mugla, Kusadasi, Datca, Didim, Antalya
and Fethiye, other areas would be considered on a case
by case basis to a maximum of 60 to 70 % loan to value.
Minimum
Loan 40,000 EUROS / Maximum Loan 200,000 EUROS
Maximum
Loan to Value 80% of the Property Value (see acceptable
areas above)
Based
on Affordability after financial commitments removed
from net salary (max 2 joint)
Repayment
terms from 5 to 20 years
Minimum
age at application is 24 years with a maximum age 0f 75
years upon completion
Maximum
number of applicants is 2 per property/ mortgage
Updated
Current rates as of 05/09/2006 are:
1
year Fixed rate in EURO= 5.90% or £ Sterling Rate 1
year Fixed= 6.90%
3
year Fixed rate in EURO= 6.30% or £ Sterling Rate 3
year Fixed= 7.30%
5
year Fixed rate in EURO= 6.60% or £ Sterling Rate 5
year Fixed= 7.60%
If
the property is to be rented Add 0.50% to both of these
rates.
All
cases are taken on a case by case basis & are
subject to satisfactory credit status & Valuation
